From Staff Reports
Perry Countians in need of a protective mask to help curb the spread of Covid-19 can pick one up for free at several locations around the county.
The Perry County EMA was recently given 7,500 masks by MEMA and the MSDH for distribution to local citizens. These masks will be given out on a first-come first-served basis while supplies last.
Masks can be picked up Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the town halls of Richton, Beaumont and New Augusta, as well as B&B Grocery and the Hardware House in Runnelstown; and at Janice Country Store on Janice-Brooklyn Road. Please limit 1 mask per individual.
