6th Grade Student of Month
Cedric Manning and Sa’Mya Holmes have been diligent students. These students treat their classmates, teachers and staff with respect by valuing them as individuals and respecting all differences.
Cedric Manning embraces the responsibility required to maintain progress in their schoolwork and any other personal goals they have. They always performed their tasks in the best possible way and as accurate as they are told. He knows how to accommodate well in a group setting and respectfully, they ask questions when they are unclear on a topic. These students are highly recommended as students of the month.

7th Grade Student of the Month
Braylon Bolton should receive student of the month because he has shown great qualities for how a PCMS student should act. He tries hard with his work and ask questions when he is unsure of how something is done. Braylon shows respect to everyone he encounters, and he follows all school policies and rules. Braylon was quarantined due to COVID and he has been on Google classroom everyday completing his assigned work as well as completing his makeup work in a timely manner.
Rita Driver should receive student of the month for August, because she exhibits characteristics that students should look up to. She pays attention in class, and although she is shy and won’t ask questions during the lesson, she will ask her questions one on one with the teacher which shows that she cares about her effort in school. Rita has completed her work, and before she turns her work in, she glances over it to make sure it is the way she wants it to be. Congrats Rita!
8th Grade Student of the Month
Tristen Dykes is an outstanding student at PCMS. He is very diligent with his schoolwork, as he always turns all his assignments in on time. He is also a great contributor to a positive classroom environment, as he is always focused and never a distraction in class. He does what he is supposed to do when he is supposed to do it. Tristen looks like a learner, and he acts like a learner. Congrats Tristen!
Jordan Thornton is a student who goes above and beyond in our middle school community. She always is engaged and on-task, even in the virtual classroom environment. Before the school made the transition to virtual learning, she was a big help to some of the teachers as she helped them figure out all of the Google Apps. She is also a good classmate, often helping her peers in group activities. She is always doing the right thing, at the right time, in the right way. Congrats Jordan!
