Incumbent Perry County Sheriff Mitch Nobles has announced his intentions to seek a third term as the county’s top law enforcement officer.
Nobles submitted his qualifying paperwork on Tuesday and will be on the ballot for the Republican Primary in August. A long-serving deputy and police officer, Nobles said it continues to be an honor for him to serve his fellow citizens as sheriff and he humbly asks for the continued support of voters during the upcoming election.
A more detailed, formal announcement will follow at a later date.
