Special to The Dispatch
Longtime Richton resident and businessman Keith Evans has announced his candidacy for the position of Perry County Supervisor for Dist. 3.
Evans has been a small business owner and operator in Perry County for over 22 years and has also been active as a community volunteer and as an elected official (alderman) for the Town of Richton. He has been active in the Republican party for years and promises to adhere to sensible, conservative policies when making decisions that will impact the constituents of Dist. 3 and the county as a whole.
Evans and his wife of 22 years, Nancy Wallace Evans, are the parents of three children and also have four grandchildren. He looks forward to visiting with voters in the coming months, sharing his ideas for the county’s future and learning from the views and concerns of his friends and neighbors in Dist. 3.
A formal announcement will follow at a later time.
