I, Tim Wise, a Christian father, grandfather, cattle farmer and businessman, am a Republican candidate for the office of Supervisor in District 3 of Perry County.
I am a businessman with over 30 years’ experience. I have been instrumental in bringing three commercial enterprises to the area within the last few years.
I have served on the Richton School Board for 10 years and continue to provide monetary support to the school. I also serve on the Board at Southeast Mississippi Livestock Association. I am an active member First Baptist Church of Richton.
As a resident, I understand the issues facing Dist. 3 in Perry County. As your Supervisor, I will dedicate myself to the following:
– Being accessible to the concerns and needs of constituents;
– Ensure tax dollars are collected, managed and spent in accordance with the County and State laws and regulations;
– Understand the importance of repairing, maintaining and expanding our infrastructure;
– Analyze county government spending practices;
– Focus on business development / economic growth;
– Actively work for the betterment of businesses, community and citizens of Dist. 3 in Perry County;
– Capitalize on funds from forestry, the federal government and the positive potential of the largest salt dome in Mississippi; and
– Develop and maintain an Industrial Park in our County.
