Special to The Dispatch
__________

I, Kevin Shows, want to thank everyone for their continued support as your Perry County Supervisor, District 2. As a lifelong and permanent resident of District 2, I have enjoyed serving the past three terms as your supervisor. I am proud of the progress our district has made over the past three years, and I want to highlight a few of those accomplishments:
– Purchased a trackhoe for District 2 that allowed my crew to more efficiently clear and clean rights-of-way;
– Resurfaced approximately 25 miles of county roads, with approximately 5–7 more miles to be resurfaced by the end of the 2023 calendar year;
– Reinforced Sportsman Lake Dam to meet state requirements. This was done in-house with our crew and saved the county over $20,000; and
– Purchased a new firetruck for Runnelstown Fire Department that should be delivered by October 2023.

Again, I am humbly asking for your support and vote in the upcoming election on August 8, 2023. If re-elected, I will continue working hard to ensure all matters are handled with integrity and efficiency. I will continue promoting economic growth for District 2 and all of Perry County. I will also continue working with our school district to maintain quality bus turnarounds.

Remember, your vote is your voice and will determine the direction of District 2 and Perry County. Please vote Kevin Shows for District 2 Supervisor on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2023.
