__________

My name is James Kee Dykes, and I would like to ask for your vote in the upcoming alderman election for the Town of Richton.
I am proud to call Richton my home. Richton is where I was born, raised, and where my wife Brittney and I have chosen to raise our daughter, Harper. We are active members of the community and First Baptist Church of Richton.
I am the son of Shelia Edwards McMurry and grandson of the late Cecil and Shirley Edwards.
If elected as Alderman, I plan to continue investing in Richton by supporting decisions and advocating for plans and ideas that will make our town the best it can be.
I have been a coach and teacher at Richton Schools since 2011. I’ve spent my career getting to know the people and the needs of this town, and I will use those resources and experiences to help us thrive.
It’s been inspiring to see local businesses flourish in Richton and it’s something we need to continue to support and grow.
I also believe we need to work towards additional ways to expand our park and outdoor recreation areas so they meet the needs of everyone in our community.
There have been many positive changes in Richton these past few years, but there is still so much more that can be done. My goal is to build upon what has been accomplished to make Richton a town that we can continue to be proud to call our home.
