… Spruce-Up on Aisle 1 …

Shoppers at Greer’s grocery store in Beaumont will notice a lot of extra activity at the store this week as a team of employees from other Greer’s locations have converged on the site to assist with a storewide ‘reset and refresh’. Included in the makeover is the introduction of Eletronic Shelf Labels (ESL) which can ensure the most up-to-date pricing and product descriptions for customers and allow employees to focus on other areas to improve the customer shopping experience. Store Director Matt Allen said the company is also expanding the selection of products offered.
“I am very confident that our customers will love what we have added,” Allen said. “I want to thank our vendors and team members from other stores for coming out to make these big changes and improvements possible. Also, many thanks to our customers for always shopping local. Greer’s has been in business for 109 years, which is only possible due to many generations of loyal customers. We are always enthusiastically looking to improve.”
